Education is a great equalizer. When done right, it allows all people the opportunity to become better citizens, get a job that pays a liveable wage, as well as instills a work ethic that can be used for any future endeavor. Dreaming and planning for the future should be something every child does, but it is not. Many of the scholars at Growing Lives Foundation have not only been told by adults in their lives, but also by society that they are not important and worthy of dreaming of a future outside of the circumstances they were born into.

We believe that each scholar is important. We believe that each scholar can graduate, choose a career, and become a productive member of our community.
